Letter (2002) in opposition to county ID cards, "My Official position is that we will continue to treat possession, tranportation, and use of marijuana as violations of law." Update (2003): "We just follow the law to the best of our ability. Our charging DA gave us oral interpretations at the time of the law change. We have experienced no significant controversy, as we just follow the law in a similar fashion as we do for all statutes.
